Why All Natural Dog Soap?
Do you ever wonder what is in your dog soap? Have you ever read the label? If your dog's soap has Tea Laural Sulphate or chemicals that are too long to pronounce, perhaps it's time for a change!
Let's face it - most 'soap' you buy on the market isn't even really soap. It has had the natural glycerin stripped out - to be sold again to you later. It contains petroleum products, artificial fragrances, synthetics and harsh chemicals that strip the natural oils from a dogs coat, dry out the skin, and can even irritate them. What's more, after bathing our dogs, we put chemical pesticides right on their skin to kill insects.
Check out the ingredients label on a bottle of dog shampoo:
Oster "Black Pearl Shampoo"
Deionized Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide DEA, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, EDTA, Fragrance, Ethylhexyl Dimethyl PABA, Dimethicone Copolyol, DMDM Hydantoin and 3-lodo-2-Propyl Butyl Carbamate, Sodium Chloride, Black Walnut (Juglans Regia) Extract, Blackberry (Rubus Fruticosus) Extract, Phospheric Acid (to adjust pH).
Honestly, I don't even know what most of those things are. Do you? Can these really be good for your dog? Truly there must be a better way!
